Remember when I put Greenie up for adoption?
Unfortunately, there were no takers on this classic piece from the 70s. I guess avocado green just isn't in high demand anymore.
We couldn't bear the thought of smashing Greenie to bits and throwing him out to the curb where he would eventually spend the rest of his life, and ours, in a landfill.
So.
I'm happy to report that Greenie has found his forever home, right here in our backyard.
all credit goes to my husband, the true green member of the family
and yes, we are probably well on our way to being thrown out of our suburban neighborhood

LOL. Love it.
Another reason you're husband is great. Hilarious. Can't wait to see it in person. I hadn't taken the threat seriously when you wrote about it in the blog before!
Add some vines, and voila' running, yeah, creeping charlies escaping from the toilet.
Awesomeness! Recycling at its finest.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. What a great world it would be if everyone re-purposed like that! xoxo
I think I know what I'm going to do now with the toilet in our basement! Wonder what our neighbors will think?
You need to start a new movement--not white trash, "green" trash! It's great!
it's really the only thing you could have done.
Oh, my boyz would totally be peeing in that to "water" the plants.
Oh, I've SEEN these in other yards, though not in such a splendid green, and they always make me laugh.
Enjoy Greenie - - - I'm sure he's a lot happier holding DIRT and FLOWERS than what he USED to receive.
This reminds me - - - I have a potty in the yard post of my OWN I should make one of these days - - - -
I bet it never looked better!
Now THAT is funny!
Hysterical.
